Kartdagarna 2018 – 7D – Use of streetview images för photorealistic 3D modelling of entire cities

CycloMedia’s Panorama Rendering Service is a web-based service used to automatically extract image (cut-outs) from StreetView images. Cut-outs offer a perspective similar to photographs taken with conventional cameras, and are suitable to use for a variety of applications, including reports, websites and other media. Most notably, cut-outs are used to generate textures for 3D building models. 3D building models with StreetView cut out appear as they look in reality and make any visualisation more realistic!
